もりのうろについて
はじめまして。「もりのうろ」です。うろ(洞) とは、樹木等のほらあなのことをいいます。森の生きもの達はうろを共有し合い、暮らしています。うろに集まる生きもの達のように、いろんな職種の人達が、ものづくりの為、考える為の拠点として集まれる場所を、この南阿蘇に築きました。ここから生まれるアイデア・プロダクト・アートは、この場所、この集まり、この体験でしか生まれない、メイドインミナミアソのオリジナルなものとなります。メイドインミナミアソというブランドを、もりのうろに集まった皆さんと育ててゆくことを目指しています。
Welcome to "Mori no Uro." An ”Uro” is a hollow in the trunk of a tree. In the forest, many creatures share these hollows, using them as homes. Inspired by this, we’ve created a place here in Minami Aso where people from diverse professions can gather―just like forest creatures―to think, to create, and to connect. Ideas, products, and art born here are original expressions that could only emerge from this place, this community, and these shared experiences. Together with everyone who gathers at Mori no Uro, we aim to cultivate "Made in Minami Aso" as a brand rooted in our shared creativity.

この場所について
はるか昔の火山活動でできあがった阿蘇カルデラ。南阿蘇村は、その大きなカルデラ南部の 「南郷谷」と呼ばれる地に位置します。四季折々の表情をみせる阿蘇五岳。阿蘇山を一望できる外輪山。また、水の生まれる郷と呼ばれるほど、湧水が豊富な地域です。豊かな湧水と肥沃な土壌、圧倒的な自然の雄大さを力強く受け継ぐこの場所は、阿蘇カルデラと共に生まれ、共に生きるまちです。
Minami Aso Village sits in the southern part of the Nango Valley, nestled within the massive Aso Caldera―formed long ago through volcanic activity. From the sweeping views of the Aso Five Peaks to the surrounding outer rim mountains, this land offers breathtaking natural beauty in every season. It’s also a region known for its abundant spring water, so much so that it’s called "the birthplace of water." Blessed with rich soil and a deep connection to nature, this village lives and breathes alongside the Aso Caldera.

もりのうろのしくみ
メンバーシップ制、入会費は無料。いろんな分野のアーティストやデザイナー、エンジニアとコラボレーションしプロダクト（モノやコトを含む）を生み出します。そこで制作したプロダクトは「もりのうろ」や Online shopで実際に販売し売上の20% をもりのうろ運営費として、残りは提案者へ還元します。マーケットやイベント、クラファンも利用しながらコンセプトを発信し資金を集め出来上がったプロダクトはメンバー全員で共有し合いながら新たな価値をアップデートしていきます。もりのうろはメンバーの方々は予約日以外は自由に利用可能です。
Mori no Uro is a membership-based community―free to join. Artists, designers, engineers, and creators from various fields come together to collaborate and bring unique products to life―whether tangible items or experiences. The products developed here are sold through Mori no Uro and our online shop. 20% of the proceeds support the space's operations, while the rest is returned to the creators. Through markets, events, and crowdfunding, we spread our concepts and gather the support to bring ideas into reality. Members can freely use the space.

・新幹線を利用
東京駅から新幹線「のぞみ」または「ひかり」で博多駅まで約5時間。
博多駅で「新幹線さくら」または「新幹線ひかり」に乗り換え、
熊本駅まで約40分。
熊本駅から南阿蘇鉄道高森線で南阿蘇駅まで約1時間半。

東京から車で約10時間。道路状況や渋滞により前後する可能性あり。
